1997

The first issue of the SAMara BOOKlet. In the 90s in Samara the publishing industry started developing. The owner of the publishing house “New Engineering” Borgest Nikolai went to the USA as a part of Business for Russia  programme. He brought some ideas including the idea of issuing SAMBOOK, a Samara booklet. It had a lot of useful information for citizens and visitors including cinemas and theatres schedules, timetables of trains and ships. It was a very popular product in the city.

1999

SAMBOOK, the first small store was opened at 76- ulitsa Korostelyovykh (in front of Dinamo stadium), where one could find books and booklets of Samara authors, maps, and informative guides.

2004

the official opening ceremony took place at 145, ulitsa Frunze. Many Samara artists performed at the ceremony and everyone could try draft Zhigulyovskoe Pivo (Beer). The new store had a wider range of products, such as paintings and souvenirs of Samara artists, the music of Samara bands and the videos about our city. From this unique Samara place the official history of our exclusive store of Samara and Russian souvenirs started.

2014

10th anniversary of SAMBOOK store at Frunze Street.

We open a store at the embankment, on Leningradsky slope.

We expand our business and installed a stall with our souvenirs at the business lounge of Kurumoch Airport.
